Get Back to the Good Life.

Our Mission

There are plenty of reasons to move away from Lincoln. Maybe you wanted to get lost in a big city. Maybe there just weren’t enough palm trees here. Or maybe you just had to chase those Hollywood dreams. It’s ok. Lincoln isn’t for everyone.

But Lincoln is perfect for some. Those looking for jobs sure seem to like it here. As do art enthusiasts. And music enthusiasts. And sports enthusiasts. Forget about tiny studio apartments. Lincoln’s affordable housing allows dream homes and apartments to become a reality. Hundreds of bars and restaurants in a revitalized downtown scene provide fun after dark. And if you need to get away from it all, you can seek refuge in one of our 125 parks—there’s a park within a half-mile of almost every residence in Lincoln.

Surely you had a good reason to move away from Lincoln. But there are plenty of reasons to move back.

You’re a master of first impressions. You get excited when the phone rings. You don’t have to turn on the charm because you never turned it off. Whether it’s meeting new clients or supervising a team member, you treat all facets of what you do with equally high enthusiasm. If this describes you, you’re probably not even reading anymore because you’ve already hit “Apply”. We can’t wait to talk to you.

We’re searching for a caregiver. And we’re not just talking about medical care. We’re talking personal, emotional, and physical. Detail-orientation is a must, as all care must be documented. Whatever the plan is to take the best care of the hospice patient, you’re there to support it. Whether it’s delivering and setting up equipment, assisting with activities of daily living, or providing emotional support.

You’ve got a passion for geriatric care, a compassion for the elderly, a drive to succeed…but no medical certifications. Well, good news. Many of the needs our clients have are non-medical, and we need someone to help. As a Personal Care Attendant, you’ll provide companionship, housekeeping, personal laundry, shopping, transportation, meals, and other similar tasks based on the client’s request.

You sat through those four hours of food handler permit training. You might as well put that knowledge to good use for people who will actually appreciate you instead of throwing their latte back through the drive-thru window because you didn’t put in enough sugar-free vanilla pumpkin whatever. You deserve more. Click Apply.

The Social Worker provides crisis counseling, bereavement counseling, and ensures that the medically-related emotional and social needs of our clients and their families are met. Did we mention this work can be emotionally draining? But you knew that, because you’ve got at least a year of experience working with families in crisis.

The doctor wrote his orders and left all the work to you. And that’s just the way you like it. You’re patient, cheerful, enthusiastic, and have a genuine interest in Alzheimer and dementia nursing. As a Med Aide, you’ll administer medicine, treatments, and oxygen to residents as ordered by the physician, as well as assist with activities of daily living.

You know you can’t spend all day at home. Well, how about spending all day at someone else’s home? But don’t expect to kick your feet up and relax. You’re going to be responsible for assessing, implementing, coordinating, evaluating and documenting comprehensive in-home care for hospice clients. You’ll need reliable transportation, good independent nursing judgment, and of course, your Nebraska Registered Nurse license.
